Okay so here is the recipe:

{this is for 1.5 lb. loaf}

The Day I wore My House Shoes To Church!

Thank you Peach for giving me the idea to write about this funny moment as a Pastor's wife!
I was getting ready for church a couple of months ago and I got completely dressed except for my shoes. I was waiting to put them on til the last minute! I was still going around comfy in my house shoes. My husband was getting ready and we were rushing our four children to hurry up and get ready as well. We had to take the church van around and pick up several members of our congregation and get back to the church in time for me to type up some papers in the office and print them out and for my husband to teach the teen Sunday school class. Well, everyone was finally ready and we rushed them out the door to the van. As my husband and I were walking out and locking the door behind us our eight year old daughter looked down at my feet and then she gave me a very funny look and said, "Mama, why are you still wearing your house shoes?" I looked down and gasped and said "I need back in the house". I quickly ran in and changed my shoes and we headed off to pick up those we needed to pick up and I was very thankful that my daughter noticed my shoes before we left! Of course, my husband couldn't wait to tell the congregation all about it! They thought it was hilarious! I thought they would never stop laughing and teasing me about it. A couple of weeks later my husband had me take my house shoes to church in a backpack and go out in the fellowship hall and change my shoes. Then he had me come in the sanctuary and walk up on the platform so everyone could see and get a good laugh!

Pajama Day
Well, I told you about the time I wore my house shoes to church so now I guess I better tell you about this past Sunday evening, when I almost walked out the door in my PAJAMAS! Yes, I did say "IN MY PAJAMAS!" We had our morning service and then a dinner at the church after morning service. It had been a long day so far, good but long! I had not been able to get much sleep the night before so I was pretty tired! Right when I almost fell asleep my husband told me it was time to get ready for church. We began to rush the children around to get ready and we headed off to our bedroom to change clothes ourselves. Well, somewhere along the way I got sidetracked. When I went into our room my husband was dressed and headed for the door so I turned around and followed him and said "come on kids it's time to go!" Then I looked down and realized I WAS STILL IN MY PAJAMAS! I quickly ran in and got my clothes and changed as my husband stood there and laughed at me. I looked at him and then I started laughing too. Our children didn't know anything about it this time until my husband told the congregation about it! Again, they laughed and thought it was pretty funny! My husband told the congregation that I'm trying to take "Come as you are" to a whole new level!
The things us Pastor's wives go through!!! ♥lol♥

Well, here I am again. I can never think of anything to write about. I'm new to this whole blogging thing and right now I'm trying to learn how to do it and think of good things to blog about that others would be interested in. I am finding it really hard to try to juggle homeschooling, being a pastor's wife, health problems and all kinds of other things and still do a good job and get them all done. I feel like I'm overloaded and overwhelmed and am not doing good at anything. I'm sure some of you may have felt this way before also. I have several books that I've been thinking about writing but I can't seem to ever get enough time to get started. Whenever I do get a break it seems I'm so tired I just can't seem to get motivated to work on the books. I'm hoping to catch up with everything sometime and get started on those. :) However, I would like to talk about some positive things and not sound like I am complaining about everything, so, please give me some ideas of what you would like to see on my blog and I'll see if I can write them up and get them on here. I sure wish I knew more about blogging and how to come up with better blogging ideas.
